Eastek Parts Shortage: Lumimed 500-Unit Build

Eastek's own shortage report, dated June 9, 2026, lists 34 short line items against the 500-unit build. Sixty-three days later not one has a committed dock date. Quoted lead times run from 15 days to 378 days, so the longest of these decides October 16, and nothing on this sheet has been re-quoted since.

How to read this

Short Qty is the quantity Eastek reported missing to complete 500 units.
Quoted Lead is Eastek's own quoted lead time in days, from the June 9 report.
Date First Reported is June 9, 2026 for every line, the date Eastek sent the shortage report.

The three that decide the date

CAP0041, capacitor 2200pF, 500 short at a 378-day quoted lead. At that lead time, ordered today, it arrives after August 2027. This part alone breaks October unless an approved equivalent is substituted.
MHW0009 battery holder (340 days), DIO0011 TVS diode (357 days) and DIO0010 Schottky diode (325 days). All small quantities, all catalog parts, all quoted at roughly a year. These read as vendor-of-record lead times rather than real market availability, so ask what a spot buy costs instead.
IMM0055 cone cap, 500 short with zero on hand, 84-day lead, and it runs on Lumimed's own tooling. No mold run has been scheduled.

The question to put on the table

Anthony's framing from August 7: Eastek claims 415 units are completable, so we need 85 more. Which of these line items are short for the last 85, in what quantity, and what date is committed for each. That is a one-page answer off their own report and it has been outstanding since June 9.
